Maritime Police Imprisons 11 Chinese Crew

The 11 people who is the colleague of the Chinese sailor killed with a rubber bullet by the maritime police that cracked down the illegal fishing operation was imprisoned.
Mok-po subordinate organization in Gwang-ju district court issued a warrant for Jang(age 38) and 10 people suspected of injuring the police worker by a deadly weapon for resistance to the policing the illegal fishing operation in 20th. The court also issued a warrant for Woo(age 44) suspected of violation of exerting sovereignty in EEZ. The arrest warrant for 1 person in 12 people was dismissed because joining in criminal activities degree was weak.
In arrested people, the captain Jang and 10 people is the crew of Yodanea 23827(the main ship) which has the dead sailor and Woo is the captain of Yodanea 23828(the support ship).
The crew of main ship are suspected of resisting with hatchets, saws, pitchforks or so when they was exposed without a permission for fishing operation at Jeolanam-do Sinan-gun Heaksan-myeon Hong-do northen west 90km sea in 16th afternoon. In this situation, one chinese sailor was killed with a rubber bullet by the police worker and two agents of police was injured.
Woo is suspected of illegal fishing operation in Korean EEZ at the same time.
For this affair, the 23 Chinese crew(the main ship 11 people · the support ship 12 people) arrested by the maritime police. the rest of the 11 people who are not requested an arrest warrant will get free if they pay the security. The maritime police imposed the security of 70000000 won for 2 Yodanea ship.
