PSY is crowned an emperor of Youtube. PSY's Gangnam Style beat Baby of Justin Bieber who is Pop Star from Canada in 24 November, and got the highest hits ever. It passed over 810 milion in 25 November which is a record in four months since it released on Last 15 July.
Baby which is released on 2 2010 beat Rady Gaga's Bad Romance which took first place, and it was number one for 2years, and it has record which is 804 milion. Youtube said that record of Gangnam Style is a phenomenon which we have never seen a huge hit with the global standard.
Popularity of Gangnam Style is spreaded in early in August, and has risen from September in earnest. It took 52 days to broke through 100 million hits, but it took 15 days to fill additional 100 million. Since that, it passed over 800 million with increasing 100 million per 10-13 days, and still recorded 7million ~ 10million hits per day. Gangnam Style music video got recorded in Guinness World Records and set the greatest number ever by receiving "like" from users who use Youtube in two months. The number of users who press the "like" is 5,390,000 people.
Country which check Gangnam Style amounts to 223 countries. Inn country by country hits, American is the first place which reaches 154 million, Thailand is the second place which reaches 45 million, Republic of Korea, Turkey and Brazil follow them. It record 11 miilion (18th) in Japan. The gender ratio of them is 60 percent male and 40 percent female, the proportion of teeangers is overwhelmingliy high.
The video related Gangnam Style is popular. Brother is Just My Style which is revealed as next song recored 160 million hits until now. Making Film of Gangnam Style passed over 25million. Gangnam Style became the talk of the town because of many parody videos such as Gandalf, The Lord of The Rings, Romney, the U.S. presidential candidate, and Jung-il Kim, a leader of North Korea.
Youtube said that PSY's success factor is opening of the copyright. John Hirai who handles music area in Korea and Japan said that Youtube has content verification(CID) technology which blocks content of other people, or tracks it, or gives original author advertising revenue, and PSY can achieve greater successa by adopting third one in special lecture of MU:CON Seoul 2012.
