Teenage boy brandish a deadly weapon in elementary school, 6 students injured.

Teenage boy who left high school halfway, suffered from depression invaded elementary school and wielded a deadly weapon resulting 6 students injured.

Bang-bae police is invesgating the suspect who trespassed on famous private elementary school which is located in Gang-nam, Seoul and hurt 3 female students and 3 male students by swing a dangerous weapon. The wounded students was evacuated to Asan hospital and Sung-mo hospital in Gang-nam.

Among the injured students, one student who was strucked left jaw and whose surname is 'Jang' is having surgery with falling into a critical condition.

It is known that the suspect whose first name is 'Kim' entered the class which was taking 4 period class while holding a entrenching tool, replica guns.
It was reported that only the class of which female teacher had taken care from all 4 grade class.

At that time, female class teacher was at the behind of class room watching a homeroom.

The culprit made a disturbance with a shovel to the students for 5 minutes, after that, he was overwhelmed by the male teacher of next class.

The Reason Why Finnish Children Share Their Lunch Together

It has been a while to have a sunny day. Sun is lighting down to the children sitting around the table. A red rose is shining among the children. They seem to have a lot of things to talk about what have happened during their vacation. They are unpacking their stories, recollecting their travel experiences.

Their are some teachers having lunch with the children. There is no distinction in Finnish school cafeteria. Teacher have same menu for lunch with students in the same time. Lunch time is useful for teachers to check out students' school life. We can find the meaning of school meal that is quite controvercial with this example.

Every Finnish students have lunch for free. It is just common for Northern Europe countries including Finland. It is carried out to give students the atmosphere like their home and make them feel comfortable. Also, It is believed that lunch time is an important factor to make them experience a simplified society. Moreover, teachers use lunch time to talk with their students and find out their eating habits.

This example obvously points that education is not just about lesson. Also, their is no clue that differentiate the poor and the rich. Students can learn the concept of democracy unconsciously though this equal treatment.

Students decide the amount as much as they need, and they are responsible for their own plates. There are all different amount, shape, and kind of food on each others' plate, but no one force them to eat in a certain way because they think every individual has different taste.

Another interesting thing in Finnish school cafeteria is that they use ceramic plate and glass for their tableware. They use the breakable tableware to teach how to handle sharing stuff carefully.

I have been observing the Finnish schools' environment in various places. Now, my research that stems from my interest of art education for kids is led to finding out what tings and how public education has to do for students. I am sure that we have to see it as a matter of education itself, not in any kinds of political and ideological ways.

I may worry if we are showing our ashamed face by discussing our complex world in front of kids. Simply, kids are same kids in any country. I think we should support our kids to have the atmosphere in which they can think about happiness in their daily life. I hope to have an educational environment that does not need to entail any debate of economical inequality. I wish our education have our kids enjoy the joy of solicitude for other people and themselves like Finnish kids.

In the case of hepatitis C, the virus changes its shape frequently, so there is no particular vaccination. Because of the poor circumstances we have, it is best to avoid the risks. ‘Post-YuNa Kim’ SoYoun Park, Won Silver in World Junior Figure Skating Grand Prix.

SoYoun Park who is the rising star of Ladies Figure Skating won a silver medal in the World Junior Grand Prix series.

SoYoun Park, 15, who is called as a 'Post-YuNa Kim' ranked the second place in the International Skating Union (ISU) World Jnior Grand Prix (JGP) series held in Istanbul, Turkey.
She scored total 93.32(Total Element Score 47.10, Program Components Score 46.22) points in the fourth of the ISU JGP Ladies Single Free Skate on September 22. She totaled 144.77 points, including 51.45 for her short program on September 21. Therefore, she took the second rank behind USA’s Leah Keiser (156.33 points overall).

Her Junior Grand Prix silver medal is the highest score after the Figure Queen, YuNa Kim. Even though many Korean figure skaters got their names on the ranking before, but they were all bronze medals.

She first reached the World Junior Stage last year, and now, she is a leader of the rising figure skating stars who are going to lead Korean figure skating for the next generation.

In the fifth of the Junior Grand Prix on October, last year, she ranked number 6 overall, and only a week later she raised two places in her ranking, which together ranked number 4 in the second competition.

SoYoun Park who continued to gain ground while took the first rank in the prematch of the Junior National Athletes held in the last month, stands as a ‘Post-YuNa Kim’ after she got her first medal in this season of the Junior Grand Prix.

 Primera Liga in Spain is commonly listed as one of the best soccer leagues. Because they of their speed and shooting skills, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid are considered one of the best clubs in the world.  So, every player want to play in Primera Liga.

 But, Korean players often have had trouble adjusting to playing in La Liga. Footballer Lee Chun-soo was the first Korean player to play in Spain. But, he finally withered on the vine. Like him, the second player Lee Ho-jin failed too.

 It was in the best interests not merely of Korean footballers, but of Asian players. Also, many Asian players tasted the bitterness in La Liga. There was much discussion ablout the reasons for the failure. They had much experience but , they had not enough ablility. Furthermore, there was a communication problem within team.

 Park Chu-young transferred from FC Arsenal to Celta de vigo recently. He got himself listed as the top scorer in AS Monaco, and shepherded South Korea into the round of 16 in the South African World Cup. He is without doubt a top player in Asia. He was twice involved in Celta's first goal. The value of him will further give an impetus to playing in La Liga for Asians.

GWR Recorder Dan Barraett said that "It can't be imagine that one video's hits rise over 1 million a few years ago but Gangnam style just during 3 months record multiple 1 million hits."

 

Meanwhile, foreign media still interest in Psy.

 

America New York Times analyze 'Gangnam style' as 'contagious video was used for advertisement' article title. "If Psy appear in 'Ellen DeGeneres' and if the person who taught dance to Britney Spears was Psy, he must be a successful person." About Gangnam style, New York Times assess that It was so successful because North korean which isolated from international society parody Gangnam style.

"Don't lay the cell phone next to head, When you sleep"

Guideline for Children and teenagers is established by KCC (Korea Communications Commission)

 

Children had better not use the cell phone as far as possible because growing children are weak to electromagnetic waves

It is safe from electromagnetic waves to use earphone mike when you're talking on the cell phone and take the cell phone away from the head when you sleep.

KCC provided 'Cell phone guideline for reducing electromagnetic waves' that children and teenagers are able to practice easily in daily life. they also published it in the 20th of september.

They said, "Although the level of domestic electromagnetic waves by cell phone is below the harmful, we established the guideline to inform the ways to decrease influence of the electromagnetic waves."

KCC is going to popularize the guideline to children, teenagers and promote it

in order to have parents and teachers in elementary, middle and high schools applicate it to education.

Following sentences are 'Guideline for using the cell phone' by KCC

▲ Children had better not use the cell phone as far as possible

▲ When you call, keep your cell phone distance from your face.

▲ Don't make a call too long.

▲ If your calls are prolonged, you should locate your cell phone to your opposite side face
consistently.

▲ Instead of calling, use the text message.

▲ It is better to take advantage of earphone mike when you use cell phone.

▲ As the antenna sign on the LCD is lower, the electromagnetic waves is caused more.

▲ Don't put the cell phone at your bedside in sleeping.

▲ Not all the products which block the electromagnetic waves on the market are reliable

삼성의 브랜드 가치가 코카콜라, GE,토요타 등을 따돌리고 세계 500개 기업 가운데 6위에 올랐다. 브랜드 평가 컨설팅 업체인 브랜드 파이낸스는 23일 세계 500대 기업의 브랜드 가치를 평가한 결과 삼성의 순위가 지난해 18위에서 올해 6위로 뛰어 올랐다고 밝혔다.

(The brand value of samsung was ranked sixth in the world by brand evaluation firm brand finance.They ranked higher than Coca Cola , GE, and Toyota.
 In Brand finnance's assessment of the world's 500 largest corporations,  Samsung placed sixth , and this is more greater than last year because last year they placed 18th.)

삼성의 올해 브랜드가치가 381억9천700만달러로 평가돼 지난해 가치 평가액 215억1천1백만달러보다 56% 늘어났다. 평가된 가치는 브랜드로 인해 창출될 예상 현금흐름의 순 현재가치를 뜻한다.

(Samsung's brand value at nearly 39 billion dollars this year, 56% greater than last year's value of 21.511 billion dollars. The evaluation is the net current value of projected cash flow generated by the brand.)

전체적으로는 국내 10개 기업이 순위권에 들었다.

( Brand Values of Major ten korean companies were listed among the 500 global corporations in the world.)

현대자동차는 130억9천800만달러로 지난해 230위에서 올해는 63위로 무려 167계단이나 수직 상승했고 , LG전자도 지난해 168위에서 87위로 뛰어올라 100위권 안에 들어섰다.

(Hyundai Motor's ranking was jacked up 167 places, from 230th last year to 63rd this year. LG Electronics joined the top 100 this year by jumping up to 87th place from 168th place just a year ago.)

이밖에 기아차 순위가 397위에서 195위로, 대우가 순위권 밖에서 250위로, SK가 416위에서 277위로, KT가 461위에서 298위로 각각 상승했다.

(Other Korean companies in the top 500 include Kia Motor in 195th place from 397th, Daewoo in 250th place, Sk in 277th from 416th KT in 298th from 461st.)

신한금융지주는 421위로 올해 처음 500위권에 진입했다. 한국의 금융기업이 글로벌 500대 브랜드에 포함된 것은 이번이 처음이다.

(Shinhan Financial Group making it into the top 500 for the first time at 421st place. This is the first time that a korean financial group was included in the top 500 global corporations.)

반면 한국가스공사는 지난해 447위에서 올해 456위로, 포스코는 지난해 396위에서 올해 472위로 내려앉았다.

브랜드가치 전세계 1위 기업은 애플로 작년 1위였던 구글을 제쳤다. 애플은 역대 최고 평가액인 706억달러로 작년 평가액 295억달러에서 무려 200% 이상 불어났고, 순위도 8위에서 1위로 뛰어올랐다.

(The brand value of world best was Apple and they beat out last year's champion Google. Apple setting a record evaluation figure of 70.6 billion dollars , 200% greater than last year's assessment of 29.5 billion dollars, and the rankings also has changed 8th to 1st.)

올해 2위로 물러선 구글에 이어 3위 마이크로소프트, 4위 IBM으로 톱4를 모두 IT(정보기술) 기업이 차지했다. 5위 자리에는 지난해 3위였던 월마트가 올라섰다.

(Google fell to second place, followed by microsoft in third, and IBM in fourth. The top four companies were IT firms. Fifth place was taken by Wal-Mart formerly in third place last year.)

6위 삼성에 이어 제너럴 일렉트릭(GE), 코카콜라, 보다폰, 아마존닷컴, AT&T, 버라이즌, HSBC, NTT, 도요타, 웰스파고, 뱅크오브아메리카, 맥도널드, 쉘, 인텔이 브랜드가치 20대 기업에 순서대로 포진했다.

Canada requires NK to disclose the information of Sin Sunkja

Statement to meet the visitation of the foreign minister Kim Sunghwan

John Baird, who is the foreign minister of Canada, required North Korea to disclose the information of political prisoner camps when Sin Sunkja, who is known as the daughter of Thongyoung, was incarcerated. He issued a statement for calling on NK to improve the human right before one day from the visitation of Kim Sunghwan, who is the foreign minister of South Korea.

He said "We requires the personal information of Sin Sunkja and her two daughters, Oh Heawon and Gyuwon who were incarcerated in notorious political prisoner camps of North Korea. The severe treatment of North Korea for her family symbolizes the reality of crucial  human rights abuse is systematic and extensive, and it torment people in North Korea." He also expressed the requirement of the sweeping and prompt shutdown of the political prisoner camps, that is assumed accommodate  200-thousand people, and send them to their families.

The statement emphasizes "Canada becomes leading nation of the improvement of NK's human right." and "We will bring all of way for leading the action of international society including UN or other international organizations."

On the other way, the Korean foreign minister Kim will visit Canada at 22th, and have an meeting for FTA, the measure of build up to cooperation of energy resources area and latest circumstances both inside and outside the Korean Peninsula.
