EMPLOYMENT IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR! MAKE A NOTE OF 7 TYPES.

Now is the season of an application for employment. People who want to set about work from next spring are spending very busy days. The current job market shows the percentage of employment the lowest during the last 19 years. Jun-sung Kim, a job critic, says that the way to get successful result is to grasp the 7 characteristics.



1. An integrated talent.
Integrated talents are those who have knowledge in various fields.
2. Wide experience is the core rather than only spec.
It is difficult to find out suitable people by only spec, so a variety of experience is getting more important factor.
3. Capture employees’ heart working at the department of human resources
Recently, big enterprises are strengthening a human resources team. In a selection process, there is stay in a camp for training with them.
4. Speaking in English is a compulsory course.
Not only TOEIC but also speaking in English is very important. Especially English speaking test is now under way to the applicants in sales job.
5. A technique interview is a bullish factor.
A technique interview is new form. It is to evaluate how they have professionalism of actual business not the interview related to a written examination.
6. A man of ability.
As students who failed a job-entrance exam are getting increasing, companies are preferring business experience connecting the department each applies. Also they are able to express their impression after the experience.
7. Both university graduates and prospective university students are entering into job markets.
Originally graduates cannot apply companies if a certain period of time passes by. But the government banned age limit to decrease job discrimination. So competition will be keen.

  2. Yes,I am preparing for a job.
    Companies are reducing the number of the personnel. So, my major is a Digital media that is related to a computer but I am studying and reading a lot of books to get knowledge in various fields.

  3. What kind of things are you studying to make yourself more marketable? Specifically.

    What do you want to do with your digital media degree? Marketing? Advertising? Art? Product development? Programming/Web design?

    In some ways, your best hope for work is doing something with a group or by yourself that shows the value that you can bring to a company. In other words, do something now that you hope to get paid to do later. Do it well and show that to employers. Employers want to know that you can perform before they invest time and money on you.
