Korea president lee making a round of calls Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia in Southeast Asia arrived Phnom Penh in Cambodia, and had a summit talk with Prime Minister Hun Sen. They concluded a memorandum of understanding of economic cooperation which each country share resources of Cambodia and technology of Korea.Both summit concluded a memorandum of understanding of forestation investment. First, Cambodia offer Korea afforested land about 200,000ha, then Korea offer Cambodia investment resources.
And they concluded joint research of mineral resource and interchange of technical know-how between Korea geological resources survey office and Cambodia mineral resource office.
Also each country conclude a memorandum of understanding of association manufacture of broadcasting contents, cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of each country, construction of digital multimedia system and cooperation of agriculture university in each country. It is that each country reinvigorate a private enterprise.
President lee said that Korea will magnify a cooperation fund of foreign economy which supported Cambodia. Korea was going to support $120,000,000 for Cambodia, but after this talks, Korea magnify a cooperation fund to $200,000,000.
Both summit will promote economy consulting which helps both country’ economy.
